Meet Dave Wilder

" I’ve worked all over town for dozens of casting offices and am quite fortunate to have fallen in with AHC and RLC, where I primarily am nowadays. In front of camera, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been in over four dozen commercials. Most recent spots are for Harrah’s and Wayfair which are currently running.

Born and raised in Tulsa Oklahoma, grew up doing community theatre and improv comedy as a teen. After graduating from Univ. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, had a brief stint doing improv comedy professionally in Dallas group the Ad-Libs, then decided to move out to Los Angeles to give it a try.

Shortly after booking my first commercial, I fell into the casting side of things and first worked as a reader, then a lobby assistant, then a casting assistant, and eventually was trained as a session director which became my favorite position on the casting side as I truly do love working with actors on their auditions.

Teaching has also always been a passion of mine, and I‘ve really enjoyed my time here at The Commercial Class. And I’m excited to continue with them. I love when I see former students at the studio for auditions."
